PDF2DWG For Mac:
PDF2DWG is a high-quality and easy-to-use converter that allows you to convert PDF into DWG and DXF.
Question 1: Why does my converted drawing look jagged/like a picture and is not editable?
PDF2DWG converts two types of PDF files - Raster PDF and Vector PDF.
If you are converting a Vector PDF, which uses math to draw shapes using points, lines, and curves, then the resulting DWG will be crystal clear and editable. However, if you are converting a Raster PDF, which is an image made up of pixels or dots, your resulting DWG will only be an overlay in the AutoCAD background, and the lines and shapes in the image will not be editable.
If you wish to trace the bitmapped image as vector line segments, then you may want to consider using the AutoDWG PDF to DWG stand-alone version, which includes raster to vector conversion. The conversion result will depend on the quality of the scan images, so please contact us for a file conversion evaluation and license alter.
